Hi, I installed dosemu in sonar ubuntu linux and cannot get sound to work with jim kitchen's old ms-dos games, but sound won't work and I cannot find any solutions to sound in dosemu on the internet on google. Someone recommended to use dosbox instead, using dosbox with a software speech synthesizer and dos screen reader that supports software text to speech synthesis. or synthesizers. Does anyone know of any such things? I tried playing the old ms-dos games in a windows xp virtual machine but NVDA isn't reading everything and not all the text shows up for some reason, but sound works. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. thanks.

if you got the kirswiel 1000 cd (which you probably don't) go into the extras folder, you'll find some of pcs's dos games there, plus one of the kitchensinc ones (trucker).
